Hug, it’s Free!

Juan Mann had mission to spread peaceful in the world by walking and brought sign of “Free Hug” in the busiest pedestrian. At the beginning, he walked around the busiest pedestrians while brought the sign aloft on his both side to make people interested with the sign and hugged him. The sign that he brought didn’t make any sense for some people. People didn’t give their respond to him. When he walked, some people just watched him, took his picture and passed him. Juan Mann didn’t give up with the situation around him. After several minutes, he met a woman and it was his first hug after through that way. Then, some people around him one by one walked into him and they hugged each other. Next, some people tried to bring that sign and hugged each other without ashamed. It was really funny to see people hugged Juan Mann with their own style, for example by playing skateboard into Juan Mann or hugged Juan Mann with enthusiastic. Slowly but sure, some people began to give their respond for “Free Hugs Campaign” from their act to Juan Mann.

During the campaign, suddenly several police and officials ordered the “Free Hugs” campaign banned. The police and officials tried to stop and dispersed the campaign. Then, some people helped the man by giving their signature as petition to against the police. At first, total signatures just 83, but then it totally surprised because he got 10.000 signatures. Some people also tried to talk with the police and hugged the police. After that, the police allowed that campaign and the people felt happy. In the end, Juan Mann hugged an old woman and continued his mission brought that sign “Free Hug Campaign”.

Hug someone means you care about them. That’s way Juan Mann did it to open our mind about other. In short, “Free Hug Campaign” is important to show the spirit of humanity and togetherness with the simple way by hugging each other.
